BIO
Annika Sellik is an Estonian-born artist based in Bergen. Her practice works with site-sensibility, spatial audio installation, slow listening, field recording, psychoacoustic perception, and bio-acoustics. Through speculative research and sensory attention, she develops works that reflect on space, resonance, community, and fragile more-than-human relations. She is consciously using slow processes based on archaic memory and skills along with ambisonic techniques and tools.
Her practice often manifests in transformations or reflections of spaces rather than using space as a context to show her work.
